Description |
FTPEdit is a combination between a FTP (file transfer protocol)
program and a text editor. FTPEdit allows you to locally open, edit, and save a
file on a remote FTP server without having to first download the file with a
separate FTP program. No longer do you have to use one program to download the
file and a second to edit it. Then use the FTP program again to upload it once
editing is complete. FTPEdit was my senior project.
|
Use |
FTPEdit works like any other text editor. The one exception is when you
open or save a file to a remote site you are prompted for extra information.
You must enter the remote site's name as well as a username and password to
connect to the site.

Requirements |
FTPEdit is a 32-bit Windows application requiring a Microsoft
Windows Operating System.

After downloading FTPEdit, use Winzip
or another PKZip program to extract

your computer. Create a shortcut to the program (FTPEdit.exe) and place the
